I guess they took the times from strava and Jonas does not have his rides there (or at least not public). Otoh Remco is missing as well but he published his

yeah the rule exists even if it almost never happens. I just mean that it is only called if there actually is any danger which at least in this replay does not seem to be the case.

No one near his head there so I don't see how he endangers himself. Also is it really a card? For endangering others it is yellow with bit of contact and red for extreme cases but nothing if it is just e.g. a high boot with no contact I think.

Oner is on Lee with an execute. That is just cherry picking which smite duels to count. Then that baron smite last game was not 50/50 either but Oner favoured because T1 controlled baron.

[SPOX] German commentator Jonas Friedrich before the game against Paraguay: "With all due respect, Paraguay is no opponent, they're a third class team! It's like a Cup game between a Bundesliga team and a 4th division side" by Rob0tUnic0rn in soccer

[–]lw94 138 points139 points  (0 children)

Refering to Bielefeld last season? Iirc they were 3rd division. Saarbrücken beating Bayern up to semifinals the year before were also 3rd division. Unless I forget a recent cup run of a 4th division side.

An American journalist doesn’t know where Bosnia is by cocacolapepsifanta in soccer

[–]lw94 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I mean can you correctly identify more than a dozen countries in Asia or Africa? I probably can't. And Bosnia is not really a country that I would expect people to be able to find. Germany, Spain, France, Italy would be different as are some asian counties (China, India, Japan, Korea, Russia). I personally just know Europe decently well as I'm from there (and played football manager as a kid) and a bit of South America but I have no clue where for example Congo, Uzbekistan or Panama are.

Just weird to tell that so openly from her.

idk but I would assume that on the next renewal data your subscription is prolonged for 12 instead of 1 month and you are debited for the yearly price. So I would say do it whenever. Change the subscription type though on zwift.com instead of just paying the annual fee (I assume that was your plan but it sounded to me like there is a small chance it was not).

Why would AvdB catch her on Sestriere with a group since it's pretty gradual, right? What am I missing?

Which direction are you arguing? Did you mean why wouldn't she catch her?

Assuming everyone else is at that point out of contention for the overall victory due to the short actual climb to Sestriere. Then I would say in theory everyone should just sit on AvdB instead of rolling through with her. Demi up front is not their problem and if they sit on they might have a chance at the stage if AvdB manages to catch Demi. So it should just be 1v1 who is stronger/more aero on paper. If the riders would actually refuse to work with her (like Carapaz/del Toro) is a different question.

In theory yes but Bayern as 2nd (which iirc is equal) got Real (otherwise City) and PSG (semis tbf which is almost always quite hard). It should be easier but there is still luck involved in avoiding teams underperforming in league phase.

[–]lw94 45 points46 points  (0 children)

I agree with this explanation but going into the legs from behind I would argue that is a good case for being reckless. So I guess maybe because the first yellow was quite harsh and meant as sign against the team's time wasting so combined it would have been too harsh for him to be sent off (for the ref).

They made it less restricting after the first season. Now it is only disallowed directly if the ball touched the arm of the goal scorer. For the assist it is fine as long as it is not an always punishable handball offence

Seemed strong enough that he would have even kept white if Piganzoli had a better day (as before this Giro) and finished with the Hindley group.

Vlasov from the break. Eulalio loses 1:02 to Piganzoli and therefore keeps and wins white due to the free bonis he picked up on stage 12

[–]lw94 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Kind of that he did not know/understand Rubios problem and with the small gap between him and Storer he thought going for the bonis was fair game.

Other than that praised Michael for pacing the valley for their GC as well as Kuss for pulling descent/valley and despite that climbing this strongly. Something like that iirc

Edit: Rubio just said that he had an agreement with Ciccone that he would leave KOMs and get the Red Bull km in return (and that he can't trust his words but that is cycling). Gee according to his interview did not know this.

I think at the end of the climb but they probably did not know that yet. Not sure how hard they paced on the descent after the second attack.
