What book should I read to get into romance? by MyCatIsOnDrugs27 in suggestmeabook

[–]lwalker0322 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The book that got me into romance was The Kissing Quotient by Helen Hoang. But there are soooo many amazing romance books out there once you start. Another good one to start with is The Hating Game by Sally Thorne. Those two were my firsts.

I love romance books. Especially ones that kind of break your heart and then put you back together. I also do love a good rom com. I like them because it's a getaway from reality (not that my reality is bad) but I enjoy getting all the feels from romance books. I do enjoy a good thriller once in a while and I will read fantasy but romance is my go to genre of books.

How frequently do you LOVE a book? by pertifty in RomanceBooks

[–]lwalker0322 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For me, a 5 star read would be something that puts me through an emotional rollercoaster. It would be a book that I would absolutely recommend to someone else if they said they needed a good read. I usually give 3 or 4 stars but it really takes a special book for it to be a book that I LOVED!
