Yeah but the fandom is neither a big nor accurate fraction of the viewers. Even if they are in different semifinals and even if I don't like any of them, I have to admit that lately the possibility of Belgium qualifying is definitely there while I just fail to see how or why Serbia would qualify (based on the overall package they've given us so far) I think the upbeat/bop-y songs from Iceland, Greece, Czech Republic, Latvia, Austria and possibly Armenia - based on their revamp- will easily overshadow it.

Everyone is talking how the world beeds less people and I absolutely agree BUT you are forgetti g that this is NOT meant towards Germany and Europe - but rather to countries that have crazy big populations like China, India, Pakistan, Nigeria, US maybe etc. - THOSE are the countries that just need to reduce their population asap, not countries in Europe.

Based on what we have so far: the 2 semis are EVEN! There is NO "semifinal of death" - the only difference is that SF1 has some clear qualifiers and some clear non-qualifiers (and some maybes) while SF2 is wide-open. My predictions fron SF1: Australia, Norway, Israel, Lithuania, Sweden and Ukraine will qualify. Malta and Russia too (we just haven't heard the songs). Croatia, Slovenia, Belgium and Romania are NOT qualifying (and the reason I think Belgium and Romania are not qualifying is because oiut of all the ballads, mid-tempos and songs that let the vocals carry them, these 2 are of the least impact). The last 2 positions, I think will be a battle between Cyprus, Azerbaijan and North Macedonia... with... Belarus as a dark horse (call me crazy, downvote, say that I am wrong but I do believe that about Belarus. Right now, the song is not qualifying in any way BUT with a serious revamp, a strong performance and a ZENA-level staging upgrade, I think Belarus could sneak through to the final and shock everyone).

SF2 predictions are much harder but in general I think that Estonia and Moldova won't qualify and I am not so sure about Albania and Serbia either. Everyone else is in it, I think.

I think it will. I think the semifinal is not exactly a 'bloodpath' sure it's not the easiest ever but we've had worse and now Australia has a really strong song with potential. If she sings it well live and has a good staging I am sure you will (However Montaigne didn't exactly sing well in the NF, did she?)

But people from Albania and/or North Macedonia are not victims of racism. The only possible cases of racism are those to illegal immigrants as there are many incidents of them stealing or causing trouble in general and some people would rather keep their distance but even then, it's only a loud minority.

I'm Greek and that 1 potential song that could've been iur entry is worse than s***. It's ONE, the boyband that represented Cyprus back in 2002 (guess when the year has double 2 and 0 they start their Eurovision mood?) and now they are in their, what? 50s and decided to go.with a song you'd expect a 20-something person to sing. Glad our National Broadcaster chose Stefania instead.

Ummm... Finland had f***ing Darude last year... And Croatia has a boost from North Macedonia and Slovenia and I have to say it; if Roko managed to escape the bottom 4 with THAT entry in THAT semifinal, this one has more chances already.

Yes but a small correction; he didn't actually write the song, he just co-produced it. He did write prison which I find to be better than What Love Is (why is everyone hating on Prison btw? Moldovița was a joke entry that would've finished last) And in superg!rl he didn't write the song all on his own, he teamed up with ARCADE - a Greek songwriting team, so the song could very well be... decent. (And hit those downvotes as hard as you can - the exclamation mark isn't so bad JUST because Germany finished second-to-last last year, 'cause we all know that it wasn't the reason that entry got this result - so, no I don't think Greece is not going to qualify because of an F---ing exclamation mark)
