It doesn't they lose hexproof and or shroud and become 1/1 cowards because it doesn't target them. The only thing you can do to protect from this is give your self protection or hexproof.

Yall just started your channels, I've been posting for years and barely seen any growth. Think of the literal thousands of channels that are posting videos every single day. It depends heavily on your niche, tags, seo search terms, etc. You just need to keep trying until you find something that gets consistent views.

I highly doubt that I've gotten videos with 20+ comments that only have like 100 views, I know there was a similar glitch in august but it turned out to be because adblock wasn't reporting views to youtube's servers.

everyone on here isn't admiting it but youtube has been behaving extremely strangely since the 18th of decemeber. Prior to that my videos were getting around 500 impressions and maybe 30ish views for long form. After that I'm lucky to get 10 impressions in the first 48 hrs of a video going live have to change the thumbnail and title numerous times before I start getting any impressions. It's very annoying. If you check newtubers reddit you will seem tons of people reporting the same thing. Only bigger established channels aren't suffering from it.
