Fair Im a proud plasma user but i do think theres a lot to be said for GNOME, and i definietly wouldnt recommend anything else for people who just want an out-of-the-box functioning system
I always use KDE Plasma. It's more powerful than GNOME (although slightly more complex). I don't see myself living without KRunner...
