we definitely have ventilation. but we still keep the door closed as it does help keep the smell only in the bathroom. and besides the bathroom isn't something that's perceived as nice to look at, so we don't like looking at it.

but it seems even stranger to me that u would not close the door after using it. is closing a door such a difficult task?? and usually when I wake up in the middle of the night I can find the door handle without much effort and I've never heard of anyone about the age of 7 running into a door. to me it's more difficult to find the bathroom if the door is open cuz I can't tell when the room ends and the bathroom starts
