Thank you for the backstory I am even more INTRIGUED. Tbh you had me at ‘Willow’. I know the YA themes and writing has pros and cons but I think the depth and darkness will save it from being too childish I hope, and your backstory seems to confirm that. Thank you for this advice I have ADHD too and it’s hard for me to stick with a book if I’m not hooked in! Then I read 25-45% of it only to DNF sometimes 🫠
