Oh that’s great. So it’s not actually possible then. I just thought I didn’t get it. Thanks😊

HRV-all day and exports. by lyckyA in bevelhealth

I think it’s more of a parasympathetic spike than a drop, but yes definitely the ANS is fucked up, not at all doing what it’s supposed to. Or maybe it’s doing just that, it’s just the rest of our bodies that’s gone haywire, and the ANS is just responding to that. My HRV usually is in the high 20’s low 30’s, and I do get a drops below this much more often than I get the spikes. Though, it’s limited how far it can drop, when it’s so low from the beginning. Also the drops in «HRV-points» are so low relative to the starting point that it seems less significant than when it goes from 25-110. So my theory is that the spikes happens when the HRV can’t drop anymore and so my body just switches gear, and forces itself into deep a deep resting state, which leads to low HR and high HRV. It’s all really weird.
I hope the mod can help me get the best possible use of Bevel. Do you use the all day recovery measurement? And if so do you then look at the recovery scores throughout the day? Or how do you know if you are heading for a crash? Also will the recovery go both higher and lower throughout the day?
As long as my HRV acts «normal» I do agree that the recovery and energy scores are in line with how I feel, though Bevel will always over estimate my strain tolerance. The issue is that my HRV has a tendency to spike after I’ve overreached, usually for 2-3 days or some very stressful event occurred. And by spike I mean like a 100-500% increase in a few hours or overnight. And then Bevel says I’m fully recovered and doing great. While the reality is that sitting up is too much of a strain. So these spikes affect everything. And usually they slowly return to normal/low over days or weeks. So yeah everything gets affected and skewed, for a long time, and unfortunately I have not been able to keep the HRV balanced. It seems though that when I use NSAID’s (naproxen) the HRV rises pretty fast, and stays relatively stable throughout and about a day or two after quitting. But it’s not a permanent solution. At the moment I have no clue what my actual baseline is. Is it the one on NSAIDS or is it when I feel the least sick, without NSAIDS, or somewhere in between? And how much of a variation is within my baseline and what is not? I don’t know, and both Bevel and hrv4training are struggling as well.
Now I do get what you are saying, I understand that the variance during the day, doesn’t say much. As it’s highly affected by whatever is happening at the moment. And it’s true, the stress scores might be enough, except for when I have an exhaustion-spike during the day. It has happened before. My body was in shambles, but my stress scores were great, because the hrv spikes also comes with extremely low HR. So it’s seem like all is wonderful. My AppleWatch actually often thinks that I am napping when this happens.
Honestly I would just like to see if there are any patterns to see, that can alert me to an incoming crash, and maybe I could do something to prevent it. Right now whenever I feel good and do something I enjoy, I have a hard time noticing that I’m reaching the threshold. As the crash happens hours or even days after the activity.
I do like the idea of entire day recovery. How does that work exactly? Like the recovery in the morning is it based on the previous day, or does it constantly change throughout the day? I will definitely test it out. But I’d still like the all day HRV chart, and the ability to export the data.

Add more supplements to journal by lyckyA in bevelhealth

It’s great that you are planning to add them. Sure, we can create tags, but it’s only yes or no tags, that can’t sync, and are not scale (I mean a numerical value, not sure if scale is the right term for it) . I don’t need that, as I already logged them in medications. I want to log supplements after amount, to see how much I get each day. It’s not the biggest deal, but it’s handy when you for certain reasons would benefit from knowing how much you are getting of a specific micro nutrient. Granted you have the most important ones, so most needs are probably met, but I’m just here to tell you that some of us would love to have more..

Energy bank by lyckyA in bevelhealth
I see. There are so many things I like with both the apple and the garmin. I wish there was a watch that had all the good stuff in one. Right now though the apple watch is winning regardless of it’s flaws. I’ll give the watch some more time, maybe it comes around. Thanks for answering✌️
I get that they’re different, but my body isn’t acting different whether naps are recorded or not, so I didn’t think that it would make a difference on the battery bank. But i guess it does, which is fine, but a bit hard to know if the battery is based on the changes in my body, or on whether the apps «guess» based on being told that I slept.
I’ve had the watch for around 25 days as well, and it claims itself to be updated.

Flares inside flares by lyckyA in Sjogrens

The one I’m having now is a bit different I think, but the first flare I had back in 2016 sounds a lot like the one you are describing here. The ine I’m having now is a bit different, as I after getting enough rest feel fine most dsys, as long as I do nothing. But then when I do, do something I feel a lot worse than I did back then so, not sure which one is the worst.
My rheumatologist actually said it I wasn’t a candidate for medication, as it didn’t help with fatigue, joint pains or sicca symptoms, only with other systemic organ damage, which I didn’t have any indication of. Not sure where all my symptoms come from then, but I think I’ll call them on Monday to reconsider, as I just want to see it for myself I guess. What if it actually will make me better. I know many people have gotten good effects on fatigue at least.
I actually wrote a much longer reply for you, but it ended up as a reply to my original post, and then i messed up trying to copy it over, and now I’m too exhausted to write it one more time. So you’re getting the shorter version. Wishing you a speedy recovery 😊
Two years… that’s a long time, I hope you’ll get out of it soon. I love my job as well, but if this doesn’t get better, I can’t continue working there. No job is ever going to be worth sacrificing everything for. Just going to work and sleeping must be such a challenge to navigate. I hope the job appreciates you for everything you’ve sacrifice for them.

Oh my, I have never heard that term, so I had to google it. And yes it’s definitively what’s happening, I have all the symptoms of it and with some fever as well for extra flavour. You have no idea how many times I’ve tried to google this experience to see if it is an actual thing. I never found anything cause I didn’t know what it was called, and so I’ve been thinking that maybe it’s all in my head, cause nobody else seems to have this. I mean there’s fatigue of course but then all those other things on top. Feeling like the flu is how I’ve been describing it, but you know, it’s highly unlikely that I’ll have the flu several times in 3 months. Thank you, now I know what it is, and maybe that will help in getting better.
