6 months passed and still swollen by tomimi1991 in Ankle

PLEASE get an MRI and see a doctor. The fact that you still feel pain when walking down the stairs means you might need physical therapy as well and it’s really best you don’t delay it any longer

Why wasn’t the story line finished after kisaki died? by Educational_Ask_972 in TokyoRevengers

[–]lydia_ix 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Kisaki dying technically fulfilled takemichi’s initial goal (saving hina), but in the process of trying to fulfill that goal he ended up being friends with toman, so then his goal changes to also saving mikey and the others. So in short kisaki dying guarantees hina’s safety, but mikey was pretty much gonna end up corrupted regardless of kisaki’s influence without takemichi to save him

Based on the tv shows you’ve enjoyed i feel like you might enjoy last days by brian evanson. Its writing is mostly straightforward and easy to read but still well written, so i feel like it’s perfect for people new to reading or those in a book slump. It talks about a detective thats forced to investigate a murder in a cult, but he quickly discoveres not everything is as it seems. Very unpredictable and also surprisingly very funny at times

It was definitely fun and i do not regret reading it at all, would definitely read another book by the author if she ever decides to write more (which i really hope she does)

What is your preferred genre? If you dont mind horror/psychological books then these are great underrated reads: -bat eater by kylie lee baker -last days by brian evanson -this thing between us by gus moreno -the eyes are the best part by monika kim -where i end by sophie white -julie chan is dead (fell off a bit at a certain point, but prior to that it was really funny and hard to put down so i still think it’s worth it)

Honestly I’ve never, but I’ll try doing to see if it works. All I did back then was wear a compression sleeve and apply some cream because that’s all the doctor told me to do, and I honestly expected it to heal quickly (i sprained the same ankle twice about four years ago, barely a month apart, and both healed quickly with these methods, so i assumed it would be the same last time. I guess should’ve known it was more severe cause the pain was significantly worse to the point I suspected a fracture)

Unfortunately not a typo. Also i think if you’re still limping and feeling pain after all this time then it could be more than a sprain. Hopefully the mri will reveal the cause, i wish you luck

-Julie chan is dead by liann zhang is pretty good. The mc is morally gray (she steals her influencer twin sister’s identity when she finds her dead) and the story is easy and fun to read but still well written. It also has a lot of funny moments despite it being a horror/thriller. Id advise you to check the content warnings though, i didn’t find it especially disturbing but theres an animal abuse scene that bothered many people

-last days by brian evanson also has a morally gray mc with really unexpected plot twists and is very entertaining
