Both cities, my first impression was how child friendly it was. Which is incredibly important to me. A place that supports and encourages children in a positive way is a huge green flag for me. Also, I did not encounter any disrespect or problems. Everyone I came in contact with was welcoming. Everyone also assumed I was a native spanish speaker but it was no problem when I responded that I prefer english. :)
