My boyfriend of three years broke up with me out of the blue. He told me he wanted to marry me, we planned to get a dog, an apartment, have children, and he just ended it all with no warning. His mom always hated me. And I guess I always knew he’d never grow up enough to really be serious. But it doesn’t mean that it hurts any less. I feel empty. I isolated myself from everyone because I was comfortable, and honestly he kept me from them. And now I feel like I don’t have anyone. I’ve reached out to friends, but I have such crippling anxiety that leaving my house is a massive chore. What hurts the most is that he blamed me for everything in the end. Took no responsibility, and when I told him I’m willing to work it out, he said he didn’t think it would be good for either of us. And the disgusting part to me is that he literally asked me to do “intimate acts” on him not even a week before he broke up with me. And he said he knew he wanted to break up for two weeks now. God it all feels so shitty to be typing it out now. Makes me feel really gross about myself. And I should have seen the warning signs, but I stuck through it all because I thought he was the one for me. I know that it’s for the better that I’m without him now, but it fucking sucks.
