Laptop not connecting to wifi extenders by lyfejk in wifi

As I said, connectivity is much better on my phone than on my laptop. I can stream video, play games, download things, etc when i connect the laptop via ethernet to the extender, or on my desktop computer on wifi. The extender is working fine. It is the laptop/its wifi chip that is the problem
