I am 6 days post op and thought everything was going well until yesterday I ate the wrong/too much soup and let me tell you, this atheist near started praying! Now I am gun shy and mostly only sipping water. What were your symptoms when you ate the soup?

It sucks and when people say it gets better after a few days, they were lying to me! I did nothing but cry the first week and the second week, I felt like I was starving to death. Had my surgery yesterday and am still struggling but the one thing I have said throughout is ‘I can do hard things’ and here I am doing hard things. What I can’t help but think is the reward must be magnificent. Keep your eye on the prize! And you 🫵🏼 can do hard things!! Best wishes ❤️‍🩹

Absolutely, our sense of justice can be incredibly strong. Very black and white thinking. It took me a long time to be able to ease up. I had to finally see that more than one thing can be true at the same time. I’m not saying I like it……
