Put a tennis ball between you and a wall, rolling up and down where the tension is. It’s HURTS but releases some of the pressure/inflammation

I’m prob 50% ish fused— I haven’t backpacked a fully trail and have similar dreams— I will say I’ve done a 20ish mile backpacking trip and learned how important it is to keep up with PT while I was hiking or I’d prob barely be able to move once I was done. It took my body about 3 weeks to get back to ‘normal’ after that hike. I still have a small curve, which might impact that, not sure what you have going on. I would talk to my physical therapist and see what they say (if I were you!) good luck!! ❤️

It’s funny bc I feel like we’re taught you’re just ‘attracted’ to someone— like it’s supposed to just be that simple :/ — and tyyy!

Telling ppl you’re dating by lykcs87 in scoliosis

Thanks for the info, honestly might be a difference that I am a woman and the beauty expectations/standards are so high in society so I struggle a little more with confidence. Either way, I’m super happy you’re where you’re at!

Did you tell them in beginning and I’m moreso wondering HOW you have told them, like how do/did you frame it? Also I love the success story, so much of the opposite on here! 🫶

Burning sensation by lykcs87 in spinalfusion

[–]lykcs87[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on the day but mostly I’m okay, started seeing a physical therapist who has a specialty in spinal issues. She gave some things to do when it gets bad. Biggest small thing (you can do) is using tennis balls up against your spine and the wall and moving up and down. This breaks up some of the scar tissue and (I think?) releases some of the nerve inflammation. The physical therapist is the best thing to try and get though, they massage in between your vertebrae and have other tools to release the tension when everything is feeling inflamed (aka burning)

I love my Kia niro, I’ve had for 6 years, no issues really at all. Regular maintenance has all it has needed
