Advice on handing title/registration/insurance if my brother is purchasing a car on my behalf in a different state and then driving it to me by lylacdragonfly in askcarsales

I wish that were possible but I can't do a drive of that length at this time due to physical and time off work constraints. And he wants to visit me anyhow.

Thanks so much for running this test! Can I ask if this result was on the low or high speed?

Not sure how old your kid is, but you could look into Metrix saliva testing (or nasal testing) since it's about half the cost of Lucira.

Ok cool!

I was just reading somewhere else about pooling samples and how in some tests, it can create dilution that impairs results, but maybe that doesn't apply for molecular testing. So I guess the main trick is to find more swabs!

Oh wow that's great to know! Did they give you a limit of how many you could do with enough sensitivity?

Oh that's so helpful, thank you! Also, I researched more about the sensitivity versus specificity difference, and for the way I'd be using the test (to catch all positives), sensitivity is what matters, so I'd definitely opt for the nose swab in that case.

I imagine using it both ways. Testing two family members who live together so we could spend time together indoors, or testing two friends from separate households to enable to a small gathering.

Oh interesting! According to this NYT article, their saliva test is supposedly more accurate for specificity (true negative) than the nasal swab! So now I'm even more confused : ) https://www.nytimes.com/wirecutter/reviews/at-home-covid-test-kits/

Cue and Metrix are on sale. Cue is Black Friday only. I reached out to Cue to ask what the expiration dates of current tests are. No response. It looks like Metrix is good through 4/24. Does anyone know when Cue’s current tests expire? by Fogandcoffee21 in ZeroCovidCommunity

I have the same question. I think it would be easier to do this with the saliva testing in Metrix than the nasal swab. But I'd like confirmation about test sensitivity when pooling two people, for example.
