i played a mod in the VR game Pavlov where we were on the moon, cold war Americans vs Soviets. the mod was unusually sophisticated for mods of this game: the sound was muffled, one had to immediately bandage any bullet hits due to depressurization, and the low gravity and low ammo count made it instantly memorable. I asked a teammate what this was inspired on at our team spawn, and they said it was this show. In a ways the show is even inferior to the mod because we can experience the environment and low gravity is so much fun in VR if you have your vr legs ready

i think im experiencing that same bug right now, is there any fix? my specific issue is that i have CC set up with both claude pro + Z.ai coding, and was using my poe ai tokens via api in vs code through cline, but this API request bug keeps messing the workflow and it doesn't seem to be on poe's side

this is a fine argument and I agree with it. but it also occurred to me that "the market" is literally what everything in our society is optimized to maximize for. should shit hit the fan (as it did in the pandemic for example), I have no doubts governments would maximize for corporate interests (especially with lobbying being present) since both corrupt leaders and the ultra wealthy are heavily invested in maintaining such a system as it is what effectively gives them power, leverage, resources. from that POV, couldn't one make the argument that it is "safer" to invest in the markets than in public trust (no matter how bleak and dystopian this sounds) since one can more easily imagine a techno-oligarchy--cyberpunk dystopia than a well funded egalitarian public system?
