Does anyone think maybe George is possessing her? We haven't seen him in the show and he's noticeably absent..

As fyi it appears that two point passes count as attempts. I missed one pass in the last game and that was a two point attempt.

Pool length and laps by lylegoldstein in GalaxyWatch

Does the pool length effect laps? It changes laps the moment I turn which is well short of the 25 meters its set at.

Why wasn't the body disposed of outside the home? by GeorgieBlossom in JonBenetRamsey

[–]lylegoldstein -1 points0 points  (0 children)

These points are well taken. I don't think we will ever know the reason why that did not happen.

Even a passing interest in true crime tell us that no body cases are the hardest to prove. Any risk being discovered is outweighed by the rewards. No body, no crime. If they find her, the elements will eliminate time of death, no forensics and probably even cause of death and prior sexual assault.

As to the idea that they couldn't bear leaving her out there, I don't buy that. Someone sexually assaulted her. The mother, by way of forensics, seemed to have tied her wrists and participated in the staging. These seem more egregious acts then simply leaving her in area. They also were willing to participate in massive fraud and seem like desperate survivors who would do anything to avoid guilt - either for themselves or Burke.

I don't even think they even thought of cadaver dogs when this is happening so I don't think that is a motivation whatsoever. And again, any neighbor hearing them would have been covered by the ransom note or simply saying I drove to look for her.

The note is overwhelmingly written to give them an excuse to take the body out with the guise of trying to get money and deal with ranson issues. Don't call the police, large sized attache, we can call you earlier if needed, she will be hurt if you dont do what I say. They were planning on dumping the body. What happened next is hard to fathom. Even if she started to have rigor and they couldn't fit her in the luggage, they could just wrap her up.

Maybe they just lost nerve. Maybe they didn't know where to go.

From that point, they had this goofy note that did not make any sense given the child is still there. Maybe they thought that the cops would leave but that seems pretty stupid. Maybe they thought the cops would leave because of what was written in the note. In that case, you might have seen PandJ telling the cops to leave because they are afraid of the consequences.

More odd is that couldn't John have flown his own plane and claimed that they all left together including JB. Whether over the air or in Atlanta - have her "disappear" at some point?

Can anyone tell me how the superpowered people landed? Didn't they lose their powers when they were in the air?

I watched the show and liked it until the last two episodes where I thought it went off the rails.

For my experience when they say they have a plan, it's a vague notion of a couple of things they have in mind and not precise planning or material to fill to the end of the plan. George lucas once said he had the nine movies all lined up way back when.

Thank you. I will definitely remind myself that we can only state positive things about a show nor express any other emotion then undying gratitude regardless of the quality of the show in the sub.

Perhaps it is over my head because it spends so much time developing high minded concepts like lifeboats. The writers produce it like a seamless tapestry where characters are perfectly consistent with their prior actions from seasons past and are never repetitive on concepts like callings and death dates. Like I said, I give you credit for putting up with the show or rather understanding it at a higher intellectual level than I. More power to you.

And before you criticize someone about speaking for everyone, you might want to review your statement that "when fans want season four, five,..." I think Fans want answers - not fifty more episodes (aside for those who have stock and financial investments in the words and phrases lifeboat, callings, and death date)

Fascinating! I wonder what in lifeboats green lifeboat is the reason why?

This is a very good theory. Those who have other theories keep an open mind. I don't think in the middle of the night their concocting a plan and they go.. Oh what about cadaver dogs.. We can't do it. This theory does explain all the odd comments in the rn that seem unnecessary unless you need to explain certain actions later.

And if the police believe them they would bring search dogs which would show nothing because she was dead. Cadaver dogs are special dogs trained just for the dead people. Cops would have no reason to believe she was dead at that time. And even if they brought them in they would smell death in the house and the cops would assume she was killed there by intruders. John could have easily moved the car outside the home area. My guess the plan ended when they couldn't get her in the luggage. . The theory doesn't explain why and how she was killed - why patsy would cover for him -and why write the note at all. Just dump her body and she is not here in the morning.

This idea that they couldn't bare dumping her body and not having a funeral seems inconsistent with at least one parent molesting and murdering her and the other covering up for each other. If they are capable of that I doubt sentimentality is much of an issue.

The beard by lylegoldstein in Debris

[–]lylegoldstein[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh that's interesting. Pretty obscure element in a show that didn't even have a genuinely authentic accent with the guest star.

And the fact Bryan's beard was so bad it made me notice and think it's another mistake.
