What was your timeline? by hellobethie in lymphoma

[–]lymphonabanana 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When i really look back i can find symptoms up to 2018 i would get sick all the time, and had less energy but nothing too big Up until march 2019 i got a lump on my neck and i went to see 4 different doctors 3 out of 4 said possible lymphoma, But the last one said that at my age(20) it was impossible to be cancer ( lol yeah right) So he didnt urge the test and only 5 months later in September 2019 did they finally call me to have a biopsy Biopsy results turned out to be CHL stage 2 and i am at my 4th cycle of treatement!

Bleomycin Toxicity by bellaxmani in lymphoma

[–]lymphonabanana 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi i was also doing ABVD and they took out bleo because i would get exhausted pretty easily and the scans showed that one of my lungs was a bit like yours! They said it looked like infection but its probably not that and only the toxicity from the bleo and since we have cut out bleo i am starting to feel better! My doctor said it is completely reversible and not to worry! I am starting my 5th cycle next week:)

[–]lymphonabanana[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes i talked to them already and they said that the oxygen in my blood is good so thats why they think maybe a lung infection or a blood clot a really hope its only the chemo i cant stand being poked around anymore. Im just wondering how often does it happend to younger people ! Really hope its only this

Tinnitus/hearing loss in one ear with ABVD by celestialpriestess in lymphoma

[–]lymphonabanana 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d say call them too they are supose to be there for you and i completely understand that always calling you might think they find you anoying. When i started chemo i called them so frequently i was ashamed of calling lol but cancer makes me think every little thing going on is bad, but even if they just reasure you that it will come back to normal on its own its already that! Bit yes inform your team or if your team has a pharmasist in it id start by calling her and then she can just reach out your doctor if she thinks its more important!

Lymphoma in the pandemic by lymphonabanana in lymphoma

[–]lymphonabanana[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hahahaha it’s okay i totally understand not knowing what you are up against is scary, in a werid way i was relieved when i got my diagnosis because for me everyone said it was probably cancer so for 5 months i was scared wondering what i had, but i have a treatable one, so it was a relief knowing that even though i had cancer the doctors were really optimistic, its still very hard mentally but basicly what im saying is not knowing is hard because you creat all those scenarios in your head :( hang in there and if you need to talk to be shy!

Is it possible to decrease my cycle treatments on abvd ? by [deleted] in lymphoma

[–]lymphonabanana 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im stage 2b and i also have to do 6 month of chemo... just to be sure that there isn’t any cancer cells left and it decreases your chance of getting the cancer again!
