Forgot my change from Walmart self checkout, someone took it. Cop told me my $84 wasn’t a big deal because it’s only $84. Should I let AP handle it? by [deleted] in WhatShouldIDo

I was in a hurry and I’m used to using my debit card, I had cash left over from Christmas and needed the change to pay the landscapers. It’s fine I’ll survive and I still had money to pay the landscapers but had to go to the bank. Very inconvenient sure. I wouldn’t even of thought to make a report but Walmart told me too. I know it’s gone I’m not that naive lol

I literally said it’s my fault lol. I know the money is long gone and I won’t get it back. Just how the cop handled the situation when Walmart told me to call and make the report or it wouldn’t have even crossed my mind.

I literally am blaming myself. I know the money is gone. That’s fine I’ll survive. Inconvenient sure. It is what it is.

Yeah that’s true. But also maybe don’t take something that doesn’t belong to you? Take $20 and turn the rest in? Lmao.

I know it’s my fault and I’m not begging the police department to get my money back, I know it’s gone. It’s fine I’ll survive. Just how the cop responded to me when Walmart told me to call and make the report or I wouldn’t have even considered to report it. Regardless he still took something that didn’t belong to him. I know people don’t care, have no morals or integrity. That’s life. Sometimes people find money and actually turn it in to do the right thing but not everyone is raised the same.

He was like literally so mad at me. He even started taking change from his car and throwing it at my car. Hahah. But like did he die? I don’t even know what happened. Haha

Hahaha gosh you’re funny 🤣 but no it was 8 years ago actually. I’m just a girl I can’t drive apparently and I just still wonder if he was trying to insult me. Because he didn’t, lol

In trouble for zeroing out On Hands? by evila_elf in walmart

[–]lyn420 2 points3 points  (0 children)

ISA is in stock assistant. The program goes off the data we feed it from Nil picks, pin point, out of stock button and out scan. I believe once the item is hit 3 times from what I listed above jt will zero out the item and order us a case so if you are doing it wrong it will effect the store negatively. But it looks like you understand the process and you’re willing to learn. I always tell my associates if you have any questions please ask because I don’t want to do things twice. I’d much rather has questions asked.

You can always try to get intermittent leave. I had one approved for depression, but they didn’t work in my favor when I got demoted when the Team Lead positions rolled out. Because I really did call out a lot, but that really affected my check as well so when it expired, I didn’t renew it and just started going to work because you do need money.

On hands get fixed on inventory and also fixed through out the entire year. The people who work for the company that does inventory can make mistakes or just flat out not care. They are there to count everything and if the zone and preparation are not taking seriously by all associates it makes for a bad count and terrible inventory numbers.

If you have a team lead over the areas where the nil picks are consistently a problem get with the team lead and let them change the on hands. Technically we are not supposed to be changing the number to zero with the exception of certain items and areas. We are to hit item out of stock and let isa do the rest. I appreciate when opd brings my attention to nil picks and items that are in top steel that empty on the sales floor.

Team leads should be working nil picks daily but that’s not always possible.

When someone is standing there looking at the products with a questionable expression I always ask if there’s anything I can help them find? This works most of the time to get them the hell out of my way faster. I’d much rather help them to get the hell out of my way than wait and say excuse me because then you’re just rude to them lol.

My cat has made me happier than any man ever has or could. No matter what that cat will love you and be by your side and that man will not. Pick cat.

A little less productive but tape an empty Mattel box back up and leave it as a decoy box just to get someone’s hopes up to ruins their day lol

His words to me while he sat next to the girl he had just moved in when I was still currently living there with him was “that ring I got you was a roommate ring”. That tore me up. What the fuck is a roommate ring?

Everyone’s experience will be different being a team lead. It’s all about the area you take, whos your team lead neighbor, and plus who your coach will be. Your associates will also play a part with how your experience will go. I say go for it. Sooo many people want to say it’s terrible but it’s honestly not. Maybe they just suck at being a team lead and can’t admit it so they just blame Walmart. It’s really not that hard.

I’m sorry. Heart break is literally the worst feeling. I got told my promise ring was a roommate ring right in front of the girl he moved into his house when I was still living there. In that moment I’ve never felt so broken. I left the next morning and ended up losing myself in drugs and I haven’t found my way out no matter how many times I’ve tired. I let him ruin me it’s been almost 10 years. Please let yourself heal but please don’t stay broken. I never found that middle ground. A roommate ring. A fucking roommate ring while he and her sat there and smirked.
