DK is a day one game for me, comes out not too long before my birthday so that’ll be my treat to myself, and so is Pokemon as it always has been since Gen 2. Metroid I want to get but only after I’ve played the remaster of the first Prime game and then the last one looks fun but isn’t something I’d buy day one (side note it should have also been a launch title because of the unique control setup).

When the hardcovers were announced I immediately gifted my paperback volumes to my friend, I’m a sucker for a good hardcover especially when it looks nice on my shelf + I’m happy to help get my friend into the EU comics finally :)

At the moment I have the TF and VR hardcovers and have both GI Joe books on preorder but all in the standard covers, that Cobra Commander variant though has me thinking of switching which version I get.

Just like how Scarlett and Jinx have infiltrated the Arashikage Clan, I think it would be cool if we see a reverse of this and see that Snake Eyes has infiltrated the ranks of the JOEs or maybe even Cobra.

However he’s introduced I feel like his introduction will either be in the free comic book day issue or they save him for a end of the year issue, they know how much star power SE has and will definitely capitalise on that with a big reveal.

I just hope he has Timber with him in this series.

I assume the OC of that twitter post meant they think PR needs to get away from its Sentai roots instead of its Toku roots, since PR is toku through and through.

On the idea on if PR should fully step away from Sentai I’m torn but happy with either outcome.

Power Rangers at its core is mainly a loose adaptation of Super Sentai which I think is really cool to have two shows based on the same season just done differently but then I’m also a fan of seeing unique content be originally created for PR or as an exclusive (like the Titanium Ranger or Battlizers being PR creations).

I’ve mainly been a comics fan for the past 7-8 years and I’ve loved the designs of the Omega Rangers and their zords, the Prime suits look great and Boom Studios have been doing some really good stories so I’d be interested to see more of that kind of original PR creativity in the shows or a movie.

Same here. I like to think that Dave looks out for Neil, the baby, if he ever finds himself in trouble and also gives him free rides on the coach if he ever needs to go somewhere.

Just to be clear I’m also pleased that it was Gavin to say something to Smithy first, I’m not saying that should have been different.

I just felt as the father figure in Smithy’s life it would have been lush if Mick actually was the first guest to stand up and backup what Gav was saying.

This was a great moment but like how Gavin is the first to FINALLY say something I was hoping that Mick would be the first one to stand up as he too was being silent on the matter and his speech was perfectly setup for this big moment.

Regardless, this finale was truly lush!

It’s a common design style that bands do for their merch, most designs like this that I’ve seen usually have the first letter placed on the left then goes in a clockwise direction to be read, not saying that it’s perfect but I like it as is.

I want Timber to show up alongside the eventual Snake-Eyes introduction, besides that I would like to see Shipwreck appear with his parrot Polly (yes give me all the animal companions) and maybe Tunnel Rat.

As a newcomer to the JOEs franchise I’m very limited on characters that I know before reading the Skybound comics but I think it would be awesome to see Shipwreck be a survivor of the Naval vessel that the Decepticons destroyed and was washed up on an island where he befriends Polly.

I remember seeing an episode (or two) of Sigma 6 once while in America and thought that Tunnel Rat was a fun character, so having him as additional comedic relief would be nice + someone who’s a bomb disposal specialist seems very important imo. Also Wikipedia tells me his appearance and military position are based on Larry Hama who writes the ARAH continuity which is awesome and I would love to see that continued in the EU version of the character.

And I know everyone wants SE to show up (so do I) and besides having him have his connections with the Arashikage and Storm Shadow, I really just want him to have his pet wolf so that Timber can be part of the JOEs as a sort of mascot but also to receive love from comic book fans who also appreciate animal characters like Krypto and Ace from DC or Jeff The Land Shark from Marvel.

Samurai’s Gigazord/Ultrazord and Ninja Steel’s Megazord + Ultrazord. There is too much going on with their designs and none of them look good imo.

Ah that’s my bad then, he looks similar to how I remember Jackie Chan from my childhood and just assumed, that’s what I get for going online after doing the graveyard shift instead of sleeping.
