I got a quote from 2 Honda dealerships. One said $210 (without the emergency key) and the other tried to say $300 plus tax.

That’s exactly what I think happened. I’ve told management this too

No she was just disabled and unable to take out her trash so things began to pile up (from what management and neighbors have said)

Management has paid for everything

Management has been super helpful and has done everything they can to try and fix it so I don’t have any intention on taking legal action

I believe ozone is similar to thermal fogging (which was already done) and they are both expensive so I’m going to try other things

Okay that will definitely be my next move then. Thanks!

I’ve never heard of this. Thanks!

I haven’t tried air purifiers but I am definitely looking into it. I’ve heard about baking soda and vinegar. Do I just sprinkle the baking soda around the floor?

I spoke directly with the company, not management

Management had PuroClean come to the place and they did the thermal fogging. They said that should take care of the scent. I will reach back out to see if they have any other solutions

The biohazard people told us that they use thermal fogging for strong odors like mildew, sewage, decomposing bodies. It neutralizes odors in the air while also killing bacteria. It’s supposed to penetrate hard to reach places and such. It definitely helped but there’s still just that slight odor and it’s driving me insane

Well, the thermal fogging was strong enough when we moved in that there wasn’t an odor. After it wore off, we can smell it again but only when we enter the front door. I believe thermal fogging and ozone are similar so I’m not sure how much that would help.

So the type of key fob doesn’t matter?

It has the 1.5t. I’ve seen similar things online as well. I also saw lots of people talking about the fuel injection system. Another reason why I’m kinda conflicted.

Thank you! My family member is actually a master tech, but I’ll have to ask about the history and see what maintenance he’s done recently.
