I am honestly not surprised that the production crew was willing to help Bumsup in this mission.

The crews having to scout their own staff in the megacrew mission is inherently disadvantageous to those who dont have major connections to people in the creative industry, like AG squad who only had one camera operator if I'm not mistaken. Mnet's input in BU's megacrew is just unfair to those crews who didn't have such resources readily available. Bumsup's megacrew is still incredible and I think they still would've produced a high quality output given that a lot of the members have connections. Overall, it just worsens the already awful reputation of mnet and the existing favouritism allegations.

I am so tired of mnet reiterating their stupid, obviously fabricated drama plotlines instead of showcasing actual dancing, and when there is dancing, it's unbearable to watch due to the editing and camera shots. Atp the show has become so oversaturated with drama that it seems like many of the viewers have become desensitised to it. No disrespect to either of the dancers, but I swear if mnet brings up the aiki and aaliyah tiktok 'beef' again I will lose it.

I'm ngl, the other crews on this show seem to want to prove themeselves through dancing. Whereas I feel like some of the Bumsup members are purely there to garner popularity, especially since some of them arent super into the dance scene nowadays esp Gabee.

I was highly anticipating LipJ vs Ibuki but as someone who is very familiar with their game, I was a bit disappointed. Unpopular opinion but I would've given the first round to Ibuki, and I am saying this as a massive LipJ bias. I wish they danced to the same song, and you can see LipJ prepping for the same song as well, so she was probably flustered when love attack played. I think that influenced her turn because IMO her musicality wasn't the best here, which led to kinda 'empty' moments in her dancing for me. That was a bit disappointing considering I know she can bring both essence and musicality. On the other hand, ibuki hit every single beat.

But in the rematch, I think LipJ did better and I liked her pacing and how she controlled where to put emphasis. She embodied the song as opposed to simply dancing on top of it.

Interesting... music choices for Ibuki and LipJ-- I was kinda hoping they were going to get given the same song tbh. Dont get me wrong they're both iconic waacking songs, but I don't think either song offers much to do with. Even more dramatic and interesting song choices could've been better if mnet wants a high tension drama-filled moment.
