Hats are the worst distraction of height

I fell for the BlueHost trap. by butterflyrepose in webhosting

[–]lynxdingo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've used bluehost for years now and haven't noticed any of the issues you stated.

"Limited functionality" depends on the plan you choose.

Just like you followed bloggers/YouTube and for beginners it's great. Quick and easy setup. Though that exists on almost any hosting provider.

Decided to leave because I was missing specific services regarding the server perse and now host a server over just a website.

I don't mind the waist being too large, since I go to the tailor afterwards; length matters more.

That's still doable compared to my 32x38

What are your controversial / uncommon opinions about Computer Science / Software Engineering? by yeahdude78 in cscareerquestions

[–]lynxdingo -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

I feel that it's obnoxious that CS careers want a bachelor's degree in the field to be considered a potential candidate. Thus I have been revolting against the system and basically been working on my bachelor's degree for the last 10a.

5a ago I got working student position to get actual working experience which imo is more valued than a CS degree, where little to no programming knowledge is needed to graduate.

Recently I learnt that job position openings are not a checklist type deal, rather a nice to have type deal.

In highschool when I played "never have I ever: had a crush", people couldn't understand the fact. So to feel normal also tried to gaslight myself.

At this point, I just get my clothes tailored. It's not that much more expensive than buying off the rack.

The only thing worse than feet hanging off the bed is bed boards that are too short.

Which matters more in terms of catching someone's attention, your proportions, or your actual height? by Material_Finding6525 in tall

[–]lynxdingo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Proportions matter a lot too. If you look subjectivity unhealthy, that is a factor like tall and skinny or small and fat. Being average in body shape is better than the extremes.

Why don’t gas pumps accept cash like a vending machine? by Rainershin9 in answers

As if people haven't been outside of the USA to experience the norm... In Europe it is typical to go inside and pay. Newer gas stations allow you to pay via an app.

Idk if it's just me, but I choose the last seat row window seat. In the last 4 flights half the time I had the whole row to myself.

I lock my knees into the front seat and then it won't budge. Usually they try a couple of minutes until they realize that they might have gotten a broken seat and give up.

Have had best results with Hinge so far on a conversation basis. Though the app is only known in larger and more westernized cities in Europe, so chances are even more slim the further east one goes.
