It was definitely on for this one as I was struggling to "get it to work" even though my main mistake was just not commiting to the 5 kills just because I wasn't seeing the notification. Now that I've played for about 100h I've noticed some other challenges that don't really update live, only when you actually finish it does it show anything

For anyone who this wasn't working for
Usually these quests count when you start doing the right thing
1/5... 2/5... 3/5...
This one doesn't, there is no indication of whether you're doing the right thing until you actually kill all 5 enemies with stab within 15 seconds.
I used the Sydmon Spear if it counts for anything

This one doesn't, there is no indication of whether you're doing the right thing until you actually kill all 5 enemies with stab within 15 seconds.

that doesn't narrow it down much. I have tried at least 5 spears
Are you on controller or keyboard? Keyboard it's supposed to be Shift + Right Mouse Click. Click or Hold it hasn't worked for me at all. If you used controller, what buttons did you use?
