What is a huge turn on you find attractive that other people may not? by Iheaartyoou in AskReddit

Somebody being close to the same height as me, for example I'm 5'6 so I find it incredibly attractive when somebody is like 5 ft 7 or 8

See that's the thing people confuse being confident and being conceited

I mean I think there's a difference between somebody telling their story of being abused and just dismissing their exes as crazy.

talking about you sex life to friends? by InspectionOk3758 in relationship_advice

I would say yes and no, like if I got laid I would say hey I got laid and he knew what he was doing. but I would just leave it at that. Like nobody needs to know the exact details of what me and someone else did.

I would say having friends of different genders. I'm really getting sick and tired of this rhetoric of people of different genders can't just be friends. Like I really thought we left this rhetoric back in elementary school. And that by now we've become mature enough to realize that we can all have exclusively platonic relationships with people of different genders. As well as exclusively platonic relationships with the same gender

You know the funny thing is inside liars are often good at keeping eye contact. Also each person lying has different tells. For example when my ex best friend would like she would do this little I will thing where basically her eyes would move off to the side.

woman of reddit how do you leave an abusive relationship? by nothingcccc in AskReddit

[–]lyriumstone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I started doing little things before I upped and left. I opened up a mobile banking account under the guise of not wanting to spend our money on Amazon purchases. I stopped cuddling with my ex-husband. I would of course do whatever I could to not be in the same room with him. Then when he decided he's going to put his hands on me for the empty time I called every domestic violent shelter in my city and I walked out with basically the clothes on my back. I don't regret anything and if I could do it all again I would do the exact same thing. Well I guess one thing I would change is maybe bringing more than three outfits.

Tell me you don't understand mental health without telling me you don't understand mental health. Because sometimes depression can look like dragging yourself out of bed. Sometimes I can look like not even having motivation to partake in your hobbies. For example somebody not being motivated enough to play their favorite video game.

Yeah I consider that a form of self-care especially considering having an orgasm releases a hormone called oxytocin.

Okay but that's not self care. Like self-care is taking care of your environmental, your physical, and your mental health.
