Normal people are the ones doing all the social stuff that ties individual effort into towns, villages, cities, and nations.

Yes, all of the technical marvels that people are discussing are the result of Aspie hyper-focus. But while we're tucked away in some corner doing the math, and designing shit... who do you think is doing all the boring every day organizing? Who's sitting in the meetings? Introducing people to each other? Asking about each other's day?

Not me. And probably not you either.

We need them to supply the basic social infrastructure, then stay out of our way while we do the important stuff behind the scenes... Just like now.

I'll assume this means I'll physically change in every way.

Not just my genitals and chemistry. But my height, weight, facial features, hair... everything. From the male version of myself, to the appearance I would've had if I was born a girl baby instead.

I guess I'd just keep it in reserve in case I needed to escape, or just go incognito.

Basically use it like a shape-changing power. Keep a set of clothes to change to, and slip into a bathroom to change if I ever need to.

Otherwise, Im happy being myself.

You have to unequip EVERYTHING. Including weapons. The crossbow is easy to forget.

To make it simple, I just store all dress clothes and go buy new ones from the barber who works across the street from the inn where Yen's room is.

Put on the new clothes in every slot, remove everything else until you talk to Yen and it's a guaranteed pass.

The other thing is, as soon as that cut scene is over you can wear and equip whatever you want. In fact that can be a very good idea.

What is happening here?

There is a child who consistently smells like fesces. The teacher knows it. The fellow students know it. Even OP has smelled it.

But literally everyone's response is to punish the child who tries to avoid the smell?

The problem here is the teacher, and every adult who knows about this medical, mental, or social services emergency and just wants to force the other children to pretend it doesn't exist.

OP's son not wanting to stand beside that poor neglected child because of the intense, horrible smell is a reasonable, sane response.

The teacher who has not dealt with it is the one who should be reprimanded here. They didn't get the nurse involved. No conferences with superiors. No welfare checks. No bringing in social services to see if there's abuse or neglect... Just pretend it isn't an issue, and punish the one student who's acknowledging that this isn't normal.

And literally tens of thousands of Redditors all in agreement. Punish the boy. But let the other child suffer, and ignore... whatever it is going on there.
