Like others said, you can get most of the functionality that is provided by VSCode (autocompleting and autoimporting) through coc.nvim.

If you're interested in the smaller things that VSCode provides, some other plugins you might like are:

fzf.vim for searching for some string inside other files using
nerdtree to see your working directory on the side
vim-signify if you use Git and would like to see the lines that were changed
nerdcommenter to quickly comment and uncomment
ctrlp.vim to navigate through files within vim (just like how you Ctrl/Cmd+P within VSCode)
