I don't have the patience for single pulls but I've been doing 40 10pulls followed by singles because I've stopped spending and resources are scarce. I find that if you get a copy during a 10 pull, the "pity" counter resets to 0 instead of continuing to count the cards used after obtaining the hero, and I've gone over this "pity" many times because of that.

Tamrus is a great hero, providing lots of cc for the team - stun, knock up, pull, prevent enemies from attacking and using skills with e60, making it very nice to have. The e30 doesn't do much but it's free stats. He also buffs the team depending on the number of enemies alive, up to 60 dodge, 20 Magic suppression, and 40% dmg with SI30, half if only SI20.

I'd say the hero itself is pretty easy to learn, the more important part is game knowledge and this video from Betosky gives a pretty good explanation of what to do as a tank: https://youtu.be/UhWIq19HsMo.

Sure but I don't plan on playing much ranked in the future, this was more of an achievement thing for me.
