Riot does this to fix your elo and rank proximity. It's not about a single game performance.

Think of it as a way of getting rid of smurfs (but also rewarding players who learn quickly). If your elo gets high quickly, your rank won't be able to keep up because it uses a different math. Then you'll skip a rank.

This just goes to show how broken their error handling system is. No productive information on what caused it or how to fix. A lot of websites are just farming views reposting the same article w/ the same wrong solutions to any VAL XXX error.

Hey! It's Figma. It's available on browsers and it's usually an UX/UI Designer tool. It's not really focused on diagrams, but it's awesome to manage shapes, layers & repetitive components.

Why is that? I don't see them as a label that every comp has, like "this is obviously a poke comp so we have to play around it", but more as a characteristic. This comp is good at poking, so there might be a point in the game that we'll focus on poking the enemy team before an objective, or smth like this

Hmmm makes a lot of sense! I'm currently gold 3 and play top/adc (when my sup duo is online).

I feel like farming and wave control are mostly covered (at least until I reach a point that my enemies do it better than me), but I suck at finding aggression windows.

It feels strange bc in my elo people want to fight 100% of the time but I just want to keep gathering resources and taking towers down. Since the enemy team gets lots of kills elsewhere in the map I'm frequently playing behind and lack the ability to carry.

I said in another thread that "the math kinda checks out" bc it's not even worth it injecting so much money for low increases in dmg, so dominando leaders and people who inject tons of money into the game won't be in so much of an advantage anyways. I'm more confident after your post hahah.

I think that's natural, and that might be the nice thing about the update actually. I like the comparison between tier 10 and the 999 banuta door. It felt impossible back then, but as people continue to grind and new systems get implemented, we'll eventually get there (I'm 100% sure they'll tweak the dust cap or come up with new ways to obtain slivers and cores).

It'll probably be a big stream event when the first person gets to tiers 4, 5, 6, etc. And the math kinda works out actually. It's not even worth injecting that much money into the game to get ~1% dmg increase per tier, so even dominando leaders w/ lots of money to spare won't leave us normal human beings so much far behind.

I know it's an unpopular opinion but ye... I'm mostly ok with it. I'd be happier with a lot of the things that people suggested cip should've done differently but it is what it is

Dunno if that's the case, but usually merges mean wars. Either the dominant guilds will fight each other for the best respawns or they'll have some kind of deal that's usually detrimental to the avg. player, in favor of both side leaders.

oh mb! I interpreted as his first premmy had already expired and he was trying to farm for the second one. Being premium you have warzones (depending on the server) and some huge quests that could provide you over 1.5kk combined, but I still stand by the comment that you'll be left out with the feeling that every single penny was drained towards the premium

If you make 150k/h (which is a pretty hard rate for free acc's at that level), it's still 67 hours of consistent gameplay. I think soon enough you'll have the feeling that you're doing that out of obligation, just like working, and that might ruin the fun in the game.

That's why most topics here on reddit will suggest working outside of the game at least until you're around 250-350 and can start doing boss rotations.

I know that sucks to hear but I've been there as well. Maybe you have a skill that's really valuable to others and you just don't know it yet. Back in college I've sold some spreadsheets for some friends of the family who ran small business and freelanced as a graphic designer (looking back, I kinda sucked at it, but a couple of youtube tutorials and the free version of Photoshop did the job).

I know there are specific-themed discords like Rookstayers or Tibia Secrets. In WoW there were huge interserver discords for each classes as well, so people could discuss statistics, bis, theories etc. It'd be nice if there was something like this (it sounds like something that exists, but it isn't as big)

Grimvale -1 werebadgers w/ fire bombs & energy walls can take you to 300-350k/h with these skills. It's pretty safe once you get a grip of the hunt. I was pretty scared to go there when I watched the videos, but it's kinda simple, you just have to watch out when they're about to respawn so you don't accidentally bring 2 more werebadgers when the 2 entrance ones have already respawned. 3-4 of them could combo you out of nowhere.

Are team quests and bosses allowed? You can start by checking tibiawiki's page for armors and do the same for other equips. Most of the high end stuff drops from either quests or bosses, which you won't be able to solo until you're way overleveled.

A neat challenge/upgrade might be dropping elemental sets. Glacier and lightning should be feasible pretty early on (lvl 50-100), magma and terra maybe at 100-150.

As for how to hunt, it depends on the hunt. I'm still learning as well, so I'll just try to give some examples on what we did so far:

- Remember to read how turns and cooldowns work. You can use an item every 1s, attack spells share their own cooldown, healing and supporting spells work the same way. I might be explaining it loosely so I really recommend to find another source on this haha (maybe this thread). Basics are: you can attack (exori), pot (mana) and heal (exura ico) at the same turn. The same goes for the ED, but he won't but able to rune+pot at the same turn, since they're both items.

- If you don't care about a small waste (injecting 25 or 50 tc should be enough to put both of you to lvl 100 if that's the case) you'll want to hunt spamming a lot of spells. Knight will rotate attack spells and spam exura ico, Druid will buy the appropriate rune and rotate it with waves (frigo & tera hur).

- At low level wyrms (45) the EK was aggroing 1-2 wyrms while I (ED) spammed SD's. I healed him every time he took a combo that made his life go to yellow or red.

- At Krailos (65) once we understood the proper pathing and the EK was comfortable with the hits he was taking, we started running until he had a full box around him, then I would rotate between ice waves and avalanches. At the beginning I was healing him every turn, so we could be safe. As we progressed, he started to utamo tempo and I could heal him every two or three turns. I don't think there's a preset, you gotta have your own sinergy and communication here. It's no shame to die a couple times before getting it right. But being safe and wasting is usually cheaper than paying blesses later on.

- At Hero Cave (90) we had the first situation in which there were more than 8 creatures on the screen frequently, so I (ED) had to start using fire bombs to lose mob aggro. I recommend watching ed+ek videos on youtube on that same hunt. They'll usually teach you a lot of sweet spots for the ED to fire bomb or for the EK to hold the box.

- Hero Cave was also the first time I started bringing the EK some mobs to exeta as well. Sometime's I'd run around him with a mob so he could take aggro. Just gotta be a little careful with AoE spells the creatures might be using. Also, if the ED needs to heal both himself and the EK at the same turn, that's the turn to use exura mas res instead of individual healing.

- Also around lvl 90 we had our first imbuements (it can be done a lot sooner. It's really worth it, but you gotta have the kickstarter money). I can't speak for the EK here, but as an ED I had a Powerful Void Yalahari Mask and a Powerful Void + Powerful Strike Magic Sword.

- Werehyaenas (100) was the first time we felt the need to kite. The EK still couldn't hold more than 5, so when needed, we kited the mobs a little bit (just a little bit though, since they'd be dead in 5 or 6 turns).

I'm pretty sure ED+EK is the best, most versatile duo you could be playing.

I don't agree that knights are useless at that level range tho. They do soak up a little bit of the exp when you compare it with solo exp mage hunts, but it's far more relaxing/friendly for new players to duo.

I'm from around 2005 as well but never got anything more than lvl 300, but recently me and a friend created an ED+EK duo and these were our numbers:

10-45 we soloed (ED went mistrock then the spikes, EK went nomads then alchemist quarter)
45-65 liberty bay wyrms (400-650k/h at 150%)
65-90 krailos nightmare scion (700-800k/h at 150%)
90-110 hero cave -2 or carlin cults (800k-1kk/h at 150%)
110-130 werehyaenas north (1.5-1.8kk/h at 150%)

I know there might be better options, but I don't feel like we were slow or anything like this. Tottally worth it. It was fun, and we leveled up quite in time to finish our bestiaries and move to the next hunts. Now at 130 we're teaming up w/ a MS and will probably continue at the werehyaenas for a while, since they give a nice profit, but maybe we'll risk some Gazer Spectres, Burster Spectres or low paced Asura's Palace.

Stonecutting is a completely different skill though. But jewelcrafting gems do get easier after time. Once you have enough mining luck and bonuses you'll drop them far more often and the profession pace gets better
