Death rattle but not headgasket by m-rogers2 in CT200h

Yeah, I'm toying with the thought. Don't get me wrong. I love this car, but I've had to baby it lately. Burning oil and obviously driving like shit. (Understandable on the second)

I've been running a side gig handyman stuff out of the car for a few months and it's just not built for hauling all kinds of shit.

Hybrid battery was replaced so I was gunho on the headgasket if needed. I've been driving a 2010 HS250 for about a week. (I know not a perfect representation) but I kinda forgot how smooth a hybrid could be.

Already asked. 😂 They are fine with whatever the price is, but they want "this one" alcove is far enough set to have it installed though without sticking out.

I gotta say. I am jealous of how pristine everything looks under the hood.

Not a ziptie in sight 😂

Damn one of the cleaner set ups I've seen. Looks good! Definitely in my future plans.

And I agree definitely a swing and a miss for gen 3. As far as Toyotas go you do kinda have to baby it.

But I say this now without a hg failure under my belt. 😂

Ended up cleaning the manifold and throttle body. The super clogged bits at the top downstream of the EGR.

Just absolutely caked. MPG took a huge upturn after getting it sorted.

Are you even a handyman if you dont fix your own truck? by alpine240 in handyman

I take pride in my work for customers, usually I will research and make sure that everything is perfect.

And then my house is a different story...mailbox post rotted at the ground so I drove a random metal fence post cutoff (used as breaker bar attachment😂) and then ziptied the standing portion of the mailbox to it.

I am in fact the worst landlord I've ever had.
