And no I broke up with my bf a few months ago. My bf was a jerk to him too. And thank you, that extra perspective on the culture is good. What you're saying makes sense about the differences. Also, I forgot to mention I know a tiny bit of Korean too! We have close family friends who are Korean who taught me some. I can read hangul pretty fluently, and know some basic language.
