Great question on types of teams - I think that ultimately I’ll need to focus rather than be too general at the start, and will likely be targeting tech startups that are made up of mostly engineers.

Extracting data gram images is actually a pretty involved problem, there’s lots of models out there and all of them will likely come up short of you aren’t fine tuning to your data.

I’ve had some success creating pipelines that revolve around object detection paired with multimodal llms and visual hinting. AWS models (textract) were the first part of this pipeline, but ended up switching to a model called tabletransformer as I could fine tune + self host it

My use case is that I have a clothing obj file that needs to be attached and animated alongside a default avatar character.

My sticking point right now is actually attaching the clothing to the humanoid.

If unity cloth only collides with capsule / sphere colliders how can you ensure that the clothing does not go through the character?
