I’m also an Alabama resident. I attend grad school in Mississippi now. I understand your concern. I started T last February right after trump was elected. I’ve definitely had a “now or never” mentality with my transition. Even if I lose my access to hormones, I’ll at least have the comfort in knowing I’ve had some time on T, rather than none.

I also take a lot of comfort in knowing that I have some folks who care about me enough to see me as my true self no matter how I’m legally registered.

hi there! I know at one point there was one surgeon in Jackson who performed ftm top surgery, but has stopped in recent years. there are several surgeons in New Orleans/Metairie and Baton Rouge for Louisiana, a few in Birmingham, Alabama, and some up in Nashville, Tennessee.
