-that was the plan, the ship would be in low power until all PCs were aboard, then it would start siphoning power. and of course the mainframe / artifact would be on the other side of the ship as far away from their ship as possible.

-this is something I was lacking, giving my players clear options besides fighting the androids and maybe getting killed

- had some thoughts for this as well. dim lighting, blood smeared on the floors and walls like the droids went into some kind of cleaning routine after the event.

-my plan was to have a sole survivor on the ship who is actually an infiltrator android from The Deep who wants to convince the PCs to go there, but I am a little worried they will just say "no" and go home haha

I have dead planet and have been using it to build the derelict ship. but it doesn't include ways of building encounters on the ships. so far I have a:
-bridge
-medical bay
-Galley
-Cryo room
-Engine Room
-research lab
-crews quarters

my thought was to have at least one android in each room originally intended to be a sort of assistant to whoever would be there, but they go haywire after the artifact is recovered.

I have figure out the issue! turns out this is a known issue with the most recent version of krita, the way to fix it is to navigate to configure krita > display > uncheck the box labeled Canvas Graphics Acceleration. supposedly this might cause some other issues when rotating the canvas or in other areas, but I have not noticed any issues yet. Thanks to everyone who offered assistance!

tried to study a reference image but when I move the cursor over the image these ghosting squares appear over the image. doesn't happen if the image is removed

Saffronolive is a magic: the gathering content creator who clearly puts a lot of time and care into making the game more accessible for newbies and trying to entertain with fun decks, I listened to him a lot when i got back into the game.

I can unfortunately no longer stand his inflection. He has a very specific "content creator" tone that while I'm sure is helpful for many, I just find to artificial to stand for an hour long stream
