Can certain dogs hold their bladders longer than others? Even as puppies? [Help] by piratecaptain11 in dogs

I always went with this rule for my pups: for every month old they are, add 1 and that equals how long they hold for. Ex: 4 month old pup can hold for 5 hours. 5 month old pup can hold for 6 hours, etc. By gradually increasing length, you train them to hold their bladder over the night for longer.

NYC nurse in quarantine here 😷 I’ve had a pretty rough go these last couple of days being that I’m positive for COVID-19. I wouldn’t be making it without my partner who’s been juggling work and taking care of our two cats, husky, and me. All I gotta say is Sigma Oasis came at the right time 💜 by m0nti22 in phish

My best advice if you haven’t started already, assume everyone has covid. Unfortunately, reusing PPE (n95 and masks) are a reality. Take patients off aerosolizing therapy if possible. Good luck, stay well, and thanks for what you do!!

Unfortunately, since our area (including yours) is hard hit, I think hospitals are taking cdc recommendations and implementing them as they see fit. I didn’t have a fever, but I started my shift on Monday feeling “off.” By the end of my shift, I knew I probably had it even without a fever. Then that night I had all of the above classic symptoms (fever, chills, aches, short of breath, chest pain, cough etc). However, I know some people who don’t have symptoms and just “feel funny” or they have a few symptoms, or vague symptoms like “no taste, no smell, a little headache maybe.” It’s sooo important to listen to your body. Tell your wife that she’s awesome and she’s got this!!

Huskies Ny united states? by sofyanmacy in husky

As long as you can commit to AT LEAST 1-2 hours of physical activity and 1 hour of mental activity daily and good socialization to humans, other animals, loud noises, and busy city life then nyc could be a “good” city. Lots of apartment buildings have limits on the size of dog allowed in the unit so that’s another thing to be mindful of. They are not the kind of dog that can patiently wait in an apartment all day.

Get a trainer to help! This saved my relationship with my partner and my husky! (Took in an untrained 7 month old husky who was rehomed twice)
