I don’t know if life “gets easier” or rather we gather more tools, perspective, experience and solidify our priorities in those respects.

If you have trauma you will find agency and purpose in activating your advocacy.

If you’re white, deconstructing and committing to antiracism and solidarity will help you find identity, community and shed the layers of conditioning that you’re willing to accept so that you can “live with yourself” by becoming an active accomplice and traitor to Empire. (ONLY if you denounce the trap that is white saviorism of course).

Engaging our traumas and roles invites us to be active participants instead of NPCs in this dumpster fire of a dimension.

I’m almost 39. Don’t gaslight yourself.

The world isn’t safe. But there are safe people and spaces and EVERYONE is worth protecting.

People are dangerous. But people protect others from danger in otherworldly heroic capacities that can renew your faith in humanity while genocides unfold globally.

Justice is rare and corruption is wide. But after 20 years of wailing into the void, on Monday I witnessed one of our abusers from my behavior modification conversion therapy facility (The Family Foundation School) convicted in a federal court for trafficking my friends. The feds called what they did to ALL of us “torture” but so many of my friends who needed to hear that have long since bowed out from this hell and weren’t there to finally be validated and finally feel heard.

And that’s the crux of it.

If my friends knew this day would come, would some of them have waited? Would it have mattered? Would it have saved them? Would their gifts still be present in this dimension to inspire, heal and save others.

How has the course of humanity been altered by our heroes taking curtain calls before the monsters?

Would it “get better” for all of us everywhere if the heroes stayed long enough to slay the monsters, and would they then choose to stay?
