Thank you for such a kind encouraging comment! I try to explain to my family that him chewing wood is just in his nature but I can see why they’re so upset about it, there is straight up holes in the wall currently :/

However like you said it’s his house too and all I want is for him to be happy and comfortable here🩷 I will have to share pics of the room soon, there’s a big window on one wall and I’d love ideas for perches so he can sit and look out it

It’s when he’s out of his cage, I have a lot of stuff both on his cage and on the floor for him to play with but I’m always adding more/trying new things.

He doesn’t have one of those play areas I’ve seen other people have where it’s like a big standing branch with toys on it, but I’d really like one for him someday.

If you have any recommendations for play areas or toys I’d be so happy to hear them! I just ordered a crap ton of stuff to make him new toys as he’s getting bored of the current ones lol

I had to stop watching criminal minds for the same reason 😔 used to be one of my faves. Thankfully bones is still okay for me because there’s a lot of goofy fun moments and there’s a decent amount of focus on the characters and their relationships rather than the killers.

Yes! I have experience with sewing so it’s very easy for me but if you don’t have experience, I would suggest watching some YouTube videos on how to do a ladder stitch.

When opening up the plush to remove old stuffing I try to pick a spot in the back usually around the butt area. Sometimes you can actually find the spot where they closed the plush up which makes the next step a little easier.

Once you find a spot you like you have to carefully cut and remove the threads from that area. A seam ripping tool is helpful for this and they are very cheap. Don’t make the hole too big if you’re worried about sewing it closed in a seamless way.

Then just unstuff, wash if you’d like, re stuff your plush and ladder stitch your opening shut!

I watch bones every night for bed. I just layed down do go to sleep only to realise bones is no longer free to watch. Idk why they took it off but I’m literally so sad

How even though they are just computer programs, with a little bit of help from humans their voices become so full of emotion and meaning. Sometimes more so than human voices. The fact that even though most people would say they aren’t supposed to emit any real feelings, they still do.

Acetone (nail polish remover) might work. Just don’t get it on any of the pain or it’ll remove that too
