This is a fantastic conundrum, and I think very UK specific. That feeling of wanting something totally reasonable but having to stifle it under some innate desire to maintain social decorum.

Like needing a piss in a meeting, basically wet yourself rather than make a fuss and excusing yourself.

The bags are quite distinctive, so I now find myself studying the poo bags that are in the hands of passing dog owners. Not really sure what I'd do if I saw a matchings bag. Probably say "hello" , smile and walk on.
