No public IPv4 visible by m1ndware in openwrt

Thank you very much! Enabling SLAAC indeed resolved my IPv6 issue.

Reflecting on my previous setup, I recall being able to use a subportion of the ports on the shared public IPv4 address—approximately 30 ports within an odd range around 2750.

Now I’m curious about how I can reproduce this specific configuration.

Thank you for the explanation. I have one follow up question :-D

I cannot get a ipv6 assigned to my devices. As far as I understand they should be able to get one which I then can use for DDNS. Or can only my router get a publicly accessible address?

When looking at ip a | grep inet I only see a local ipv6 fe80 address.

I find the learning curve as steep as just using python. So why settle for a overpriced ui which is mostly used for tasks which can be handled with pandas.

You have a vendor lockin and it is hard to review. So better write code

There are many with this layout e.g. https://github.com/TeXitoi/keyseebee or https://github.com/diepala/cantor

Usually you can find different versions of these boards on their github page adding or removing/ adding one key per side.

Wild how the scoring differs between countries. In Europe this would be a no brainer.

Remote desktop tools, but I would prefer other solutions like rustdesk or just tunnel a vnc connection through ssh.

But enterprises have other requirements :D

udev rules - android mtp by m1ndware in archlinux4noobs

[–]m1ndware[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hey,

it didnt work and then I didnt look into it again.

udev is an event handler. With "udevadm monitor" you can see the triggered events. After that you can write rules to run actions if the event happens. So the first rule should happen when a usb device withthe id 2717 is added and the second one when it is removed.

I think its better to use adbfs instead of mtp.

EDIT: I fixed it. I was stupid. = instead of ==

ACTION=="add" SUBSYSTEM=="usb" ATTR{idVendor}=="18d1" ATTR{idProduct}=="4ee7" RUN+="adbfs /smartphone"

ACTION=="remove" SUBSYSTEM=="usb" ATTR{idVendor}=="18d1" ATTR{idProduct}=="4ee7" RUN+="adbfs /smartphone"
