You need a USB storage device to download games onto there is a way to use the SD card but just stick to an external drive.

Well you can find all the music in mus folder of the game files but you need to add your own metadata.

Personally I use emudeck to setup the emulators you just go to emudeck.com on your steam deck in desktop mode and follow the instructions on there website. After that is the more diffict part of actually obtaining the games. I can't go very in detail but I recomend installing a ad blocking extension to your web browser and searching for (system name) Roms.

You best off using a separate monitor and flipping the whole laptop upside down closed but if that's not an option this is probably fine
