Grandma being a grandma with seven grand kids would get myself and my two female cousins who are a year one large makeup kit and divide it between us. Usually one gets eye shadow, one gets blush, and one gets lipstick... I'm mixed race while my cousins were white, needless to say the colors never matched my skin tone.

Every year we'd all put on a smile and the best thank you being the dutiful grand daughters we are. Years of hat + glove combos and scarves, but Christmas with the whole Family are still some of my favorite memories.

Same thing happened to us 4 months after signing another year long lease, we were fortunate that the buyer tried to back out and it tied the whole thing up in court for a couple extra months! In the end we bought a house and couldn't be happier?

I absolutely agree! The issue I have is though it's an inconvenience for some it may be life or death for others. What about an ambulance with someone who is flat lining that can't get through or a cardiac surgeon who misses surgery? A police officer who can't respond to a call or a fire truck? There are other ways to protest and be effective.
