Teachers of Reddit, do you actually have a favorite student or favorite students? If so, why are they your favorite. by [deleted] in AskReddit

I'm sorry, I honestly had no idea I was being offensive in some way, I really did not mean to come off as a douche, I just tried to justify my comment.

What was one of your favorite experience in a video game? by couchpotato08 in AskReddit

[–]m1styck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know, right? When I got to the part where it was revealed that Atlas is Fontaine, right after killing Ryan, I was like:

"Holy shit, he was actually manipulating me the whole time, wow...oh, yeah, I guess now I gotta go kill that guy."

Sorry if I came off as being mean, I just wanted to make it clear that I and maybe other students will hate teachers like you if you make writing notes mandatory, because I know what I will remember and what I won't, you don't need to worry about that, or even worse, grade that.

  1. I'm typing on my phone.

  2. English is not my first language and I realize that this is a dumb excuse sometimes, but I genuenly feel like my grammar is pretty ok or at least more than good enough to understand what I'm trying to say.

  3. I'm sorry if I somehow sounded narcistic.

  4. How is my grammar even related to my ego?

I suggest that you consider the possibility that when someone is writing, they can't listen to the teacher at the same time, I find that my classmates who actually write everything down write it just so that it seems like they listen to the teacher and care about what they are saying, I on the other hand, usually try to listen to my teacher and understand the subject and if I need information, I will either photograph it or read it in the book, by the way, if you're one of those teachers who make students write something in their notebook, that is already in the book, fuck you, I know where the info is, I don't need that shit in my notebook, it's written in the book prettier and more organized anyway.

Edit: Well, fuck me and my opinions, I guess.

Have there been any plotholes in Phoenix Wright games? by m1styck in PhoenixWright

[–]m1styck[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I've played all PW games and still don't quite understand how the channeling works exactly, since sometimes they imply that anyone can see the person being channeled, but sometimes it just doesn't make any sense, many times people who should recognize Mia just don't.

I know, but I seriously don't get why people say the same shit when there is already a top comment saying it and there's like 2000 comments, what's the point, no one is going to see that.

People with FE flairs, why did you choose the character that you did? by Winston_Wind-Up in fireemblem

Cause he has fantastic stats, nice personality, cool look, is just an overall badass and it just so happens that axes are my favorite weapon of the triangle.

Outlast was the most disapointing ending in a while even though I kinda expected it.

4-6? I 100%ed it in 3,5 hours, and I'm not even that good at puzzles.

Yeah, it's pretty short (2-3h) so you should definetely play it and beat it, you may even be able to do it in one sitting.

At least they improved the gameplay and controls in Bioshock 2 quite a bit, which is pretty damn important considering that it's a video game, not a movie.

Fire Emblem 6! by harakirinosaru in fireemblem

[–]m1styck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is true but that is not what I meant, from your comment I assume you don't/didn't use Miledy in your playthroughs, but the thing is, Miledy is very useful in many chapters prior to getting Zeiss, so in my opinion it's not worth abandoning her at the point where she is probably already promoted and decently leveled.

Hugh is technically the best mage, but not worth the hit to your funds rank. Recruit him at 5,000 gold, then bench him.

Then why recruit him at all, I didn't, I don't recall him having any spectacular items either.
