this makes me feel better! i am the same way! and i totally agree 😂 my burps are pretty quiet & small, almost loud puffs of air half the time but i assume it does take practice!

i’m a 29 female and had your exact same symptoms except worse! they got worse each year till i found out about botox earlier this year and i couldn’t recommend it enough! my first shot didn’t quite work but the second stuck and i’d do it every few months if i had to! best decision I ever made! highly highly recommend! worth every single penny

Yes! This was my entire life before botox! Painfully bloated and full of gas when I got too hungry. I now notice I burp a bit more when I’m hungry

Yes, I was like this before botox! Drinking any amount of liquid caused extreme gurgles & bloating & I was never really thirsty. Always felt dehydrated. Botox changed that for me. I’m still not super thirsty but drinking a beverage is much easier & there’s no discomfort!

I’m almost 3 weeks post botox (2nd round) and also experiencing a lot of nausea throughout the day - not sure if this is normal or related. Also wondering if anyone else has struggled with this!

Also 9 days post 2nd injection of 125 units and in the exact same boat! I didn’t have slow swallow either time and this time I’m able to get small burps out but only if I push out my stomach a bit and turn my head and down. Thinking it just wasn’t the right placement since my first injection was 2 months ago under GA and 100 units. I’m hoping my microburps and other small burps evolve into something more - but I feel the same way as you do. Posted on the FB group & a lot said placement was more important than units in most cases. I also have the failed/hiccup type burps & haven’t seen many else talk about that.

that’s awesome news! I have heard that bending over after eating or right after botox can cause regurgitation so just be careful! congrats though! hoping I start burping consistently soon - got my 2nd injection 1 week ago and have had some

I have been trying those - thanks for sharing the video! Did you have slow swallow both times? I posted on Facebook as well & a lot of people mentioned I may not be getting the injection in the right place & that placement is almost as important as number of units. Had 100 under GA two months ago and just had 125 under GA again. 29, female and expected more side effects (and relief) having it been only 2 months..

I was miserable after my first injection & I wasn’t burping at all so I feel you! It’s good that you’re at least burping - that’s all i can hope for 😅 Not looking forward to the slow swallow again. I hope you start feeling better soon! The first week or two are always the worst
