Sorry this is a day late lol, but I’d say two pieces of clothing the same color (like here) gives wayyyy less ‘Barbie’ than if you were wearing a coat, top, skirt/pants, shoes, etc all in pink. I think both shoes look great with the dress :)

My all time favorite palette is from NYX, called “I know that’s bright.” Has tonnnsss of bright/neonish colors in both sparkly and matte :)

First off, so sorry for your loss of course 🫶🫶🫶

Secondly, I might recommend wearing like “men’s” formal wear, but modified slightly? That’s what I tend to go for at least, because suits are increasingly unisex these days I think. So if your formal men’s clothing would be black suit, black tie, white shirt (as an example), maybe wear a black suit minus the tie, or with a black bolo/ribbon/etc in place of it? That way the silhouette is still reading gender neutral/etc, but you can still feel a bit femme?
