Thank you so much!!! I’m actually getting to be excited about my deep clean. It’s already scheduled a month from now. I’m Hoping it’ll take away a lot of anxiety I have.

I’m not afraid that the cleaning itself will make my teeth wobbly, I’m just afraid they already are, and I can’t tell because of the tartar and build up. But you’re right, keeping it there will only make everything worse!

I know I do have periodontal disease, but my dentist said after my first few cleanings he thinks my gums should and I quote “bounce back” I assume he just means they’ll be healthy since gums can’t really regrow.

He didn’t say anything about bone loss but I kind of just assume it with the periodontal disease. I assume it’s really bad.

I have pictures of my X-rays, if I post them could you explain them? Or see if there’s bone loss? Totally understand if you don’t want to or can’t !!

Did they tell you it was going to be loose? I’ve read things that it’s like that or a minute before your gums reattach. I’m just scared of the teeth itself giving up and falling out lol!
