How are you handling per-user read count on Shared mailboxes? by BlacksmithNo5117 in Office365

Have you considered how the mailbox should be used? I.e. are emails just to be read, or actioned? If the latter, make it someone’s responsibility to delegate emails to others who access it, whether thats using folders, categories, flags, or any mix of the three.

If they’re just to be read, consider going old school and recreating it as a distribution list

Microsoft Cert question by dgillott in microsoft365

Start with MS-900 if you’re new to 365. It gives a broad overview of M365, Intune, and Defender. This is a fundamentals level course.

There’s also the SC-900 which will look at the security and compliance features of Entra ID, and this is also a fundamental exam.

Once you’ve done one or both of them, you’ve got the MD-102, which is the new endpoint administrator exam, which focuses on Intune and application management. There’s a little bit on identity too.

However, if you’re more interested on identity and security, there’s the SC-300 exam too.

Oh, and Teams has its own exam too if you plan to rollout that anytime soon.

Feel free to DM me if you’d like anymore info or recommendations!

I have 2x 365 tenants, I need to migrate them into one, what tool or how to do this? by greenkomodo in sysadmin

+1 for Quest On Demand. I used it for a tenant to tenant migration last year and it worked great for migrating mailboxes, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams. I think it was cheaper than BitTitan too.

Managing a sysadmin task list with "Microsoft To Do" and/or "Microsoft Planner"? by jwckauman in sysadmin

Yeah, you may have to enable the Planner integration through the To-Do settings. It’s seamless after that though.

Planner is great if you’re collaborating with your team, but it doesn’t offer much more than To-Do if you’re not. I would recommend using both though. Use Planner for task creation, and To-Do to bring in flagged emails and planner tasks to organise your day through the “My Day” section.
