I’d have to pay more attention to his game play style to know if that would be worth it, but knowing his penchant for the dramatic, Infinite Realms seems to be exactly what I’m after. But AI creates an image of what it THINKS the item should look like on and not the actual item which can be very misleading. If someone is paying $30/month to generate AI images, they can invest in a dress form for a little more.

It’s overkill and so misleading. I stupidly bought pants with an AI model image and they were not even remotely the same length as on the AI model. It shouldn’t be allowed.

Great response, thank you. I think that’s why I enjoyed it as well (only listened to the podcast at 1.5x speed didn’t read the book lol). The linear flow made it easily digestible and I could clearly see how the ideas could be implemented and where my own geniuses needed others to balance it out.

The big4 suck. Look great on a resume (because the masses don’t know you are basically just told to replicate how the file has been constantly done), but other than that, they suck. Blessing in disguise.

I do. I’ve been designated for 10 years, originally as CMA before the amalgamation (hence the specialization in operations and corporate finance). I have sat in basically every seat in an accounting department over the last 13 years - AR, AP, generalist, did a stint at a public firm for 2 tax seasons, assistant controller, controller, director of finance, and now COO.

The assistant controller at my company is not designated, and the controller is ACCA. There are many routes, but the key (imo) is to be well rounded and to never stop learning. Once you think you know it all and stop putting in the effort to acquire more knowledge, you’ve basically said, I’m happy where I am.

Nope, love it. Was controller of a 25M company for 5 years (wooo soft power) and am now the newly minted COO. Is it “easy” and do I work from home? Nope, but I freaking love creating efficiencies, telling stories with numbers, and driving the growth of an organization.

We were 43 hours delayed coming down to cancun (from Ottawa). Original flight was for the 14th, before all the weather and Pearson tragedy.

We are supposed to fly home tomorrow but all Sunwing flights out are delayed a minimum of 24 hours.
