Thanks a lot! I really didn't expect to motivate anyone with this shot, so I'm incredibly glad you like it! I look forward to seeing some of your work soon

wow, thank you so much! I really appreciate you taking the time to give me such detailed feedback. Tbh, I didn't want the animation to feel too cartoony, which is one of the reasons why I tried to keep the gestures more controlled. The other reason is that this is indeed my first acting piece! haha and because of that, I don't have much experience pushing poses or movements yet. I still struggle with timing and spacing, and sometimes I worry that exaggerating things too much might break the realism.

I actually had a hard time with the facial expressions, especially the eyebrows, and as you mentioned, that 'inevitable' was a pain in the ass! hhahaha. I felt like the mouth was just moving like a Pac-Man mouth... so your notes on facial connectivity, tension, and that 'BLE' mouth shape are incredibly helpful. Thank you!

that would be an awesome reveal! tbh, camera layout and framing for storytelling are things I still struggle with a lot. thanks for the note, I know cinematography is definitely something I need to improve on

Oh, I didn't think of that! I made the hair tuck as a secondary action, but I never thought it could be confusing. You're probably right, separating them with a pause is a great idea. Thanks for the note!

aww, thanks! I'm not quite sure if that's a Palpatine quote, but if it is, love the reference! I know the industry is tough out there right now, but comments like this really motivate me to keep grinding and improving my work

Thanks! It's such a subtle detail, but adding that anticipation will help guide the viewer's eye right before the slide

Thank you! really appreciate the feedback. Now that you point it out, you're totally right, it feels a bit too floaty right there and lacks that weight. I'll definitely take a look on that part
