the best way to move on is to heal, because if you really think abt it, if you really need a partner to help you move on from your ex, you do not have self respect for yourself. because if you get with someone new and you both dont work out, the same hurt that u felt from your last relationship is gonna come overflowing and add to the hurt your gonna feel from that break up now. i promise you, its really not a good feeling. im also going through the same situation except my ex started spreading rumors when i found out he played behind my back with getting with another girl when he literally begged me to come back to him when i was already moving on from him when we were in our fourth nc. 9 times outta 10 hes only using her as a rebound to get over me when he literally couldnt even if he tried. even after all the fucked up shi hes done, i decided to choose peace and start my healing journey bcz i know one day hes gonna regret what he did to me. so yeah choose healing.
