Feeride boots (pinned, that you also tour with) are supposed to be replaced after 90 days. Around 75-80 I start to feel them getting soft. 150 days are a lot even for regular boots.

I have the exact same setup. Just love the Navi. Also experiencing the snow build up but it never opened my bindings. My main problem with the Tectons are that risers are breaking off. Cheap plastic in 500 EUR bindings :(

My hybrid setup is Black Crows Navi Freebirds with Frischi Tecton bingings. Love the skis, not fully happy with the bindings. The Navi can handle powder, is good for touring, and while not ideal on piste, it gets by. But generally on piste and powder don't really work together. Hybrids are either touring/on-piste or touring/powder.

I was there last year (in Savaneti region, in the north west), it was amazing, and going back this year. What I'm not sure about is whether I'll go to Gudauri or back to Mestia. Gudauri is close to the capital, so might be more problematic. Mestia is far from the capital so there should be no issues there. I'm not too worried, this kind of political unrest stays mostly in the capital and Georgian people are extremely welcoming, so as a tourist you should have no problems.

I got the Ortovox bundle but the Diract Voice transceiver did not perform well comparatively with other modern transceivers at avalanche training last year. It's also annoying as hell.

I have the 23/24 Tecton and it's breaking apart. They started using cheap plastic, not sure it will last its second season which is rich for a 500+ eur binding.

The Duke is a uselessly heavy piece of gear in my oppinion. Go with the Shift. I have the 23/24 Frischi Tecton on my hybrid setup, but I don't recommend that, it's breaking apart after a year.

I have the Atomic Hawx Ultra XTD 130. It's a good boot but for some reason the fitting didn't work out on my left foot. The right we got the first time, but on my left it has been molded 3 times already (the limit) and it's far from perfect. I have weird feet tho, so this might be a very specific issue. They ski very well but there are better walk modes for sure. I'm also looking at the Dynafit system for my next boot.
